Italian textile machinery to be on display at Techtextil

At 2012 edition of Techtextil North America (from 24 to 26 April in Atlanta) ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers, has organized a Meeting Point where some Italian machinery manufacturers involved in the production of machines for technical textiles will show their innovative solutions. These companies are: Cormatex, Dell’Orco & Villani, Loptex, Ratti Luino, Saspe.

For the Italian textile machinery industry Techtextil North America will be a further occasion to show the most updated technology for technical and innovative textiles sector to potential customers.

US market for specialty fabrics and technical textiles registered a recovery in 2011 and the projections for 2012 are quite positive.

Also Italian exports to US market testify the will of American textile customers to invest in updated equipment. In 2011 Italian sales of textile machinery reached a value of about 68 million euro (i.e. 94.7 million US dollar) with and increase of 84% on 2010.

KBC installs sizing equipment at Vardhman Fabrics

KB Corporation has once again successfully installed two sets of KBC make sizing equipments at one of the leading textile industry groups in India - Vardhman Fabrics at its plant in Budhni - Madhya Pradesh.

The sizing equipments consist of a size pressure cooker, size storage vessel, size transfer pump & automations.

The size pressure cooker and the storage vessel have a pressurized insulated stainless steel shell suitably lagged with glass wool & covered with stainless steel sheet.

They both are provided with a stainless steel agitator run by a dual speed motor & reduction gear box for stirring and a direct & indirect heating stainless steel coil is provided to maintain viscosity of the size.
