KARL MAYER participated successfully in Techtextil India

KARL MAYER was exhibiting at this year’s Techtextil India in the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai on a joint stand under the auspices of the Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, VDMA (German Engineering Federation).

This experienced textile machine manufacturer was handing out samples, brochures and information on the machines produced by its subsidiary, KARL MAYER Malimo - bi- and multiaxial machines and warp knitting machines with weft insertion - its warp knitting machines for technical and semi-technical applications, and its warp preparation machines for processing technical yarns.

The visitors flocked to see what was on offer. “A lot of people came to see us on all three days. Many of our existing customers came from all over India to visit our stand, but new customers were also interested in our products,” said Bastian Fritsch, KARL MAYER’s sales manager for India. Many of the conversations focused on shade/screening nets and the textiles produced on high-speed, three-bar tricot machines, which are used as embroidery grounds and as backings in the production of artificial leather in particular.
